Outgrown Wix?
When a website builder starts limiting how you sell, Shopify is the next step. We move products, customers and content, rebuild your design as a Shopify theme, and redirect your URLs.
What changes when you leave Wix.
Built for selling
Inventory, shipping rules, discounts, taxes and checkout are core features, not add-ons.
Room to grow
Apps, wholesale, POS and international selling when you need them.
Your design, kept
We rebuild your look as a fast Shopify theme instead of starting from a template.
Your data comes with you.
Shopify's own guidance is to import products first, then customers, then historical orders. We follow it and check the result.
Products
Titles, descriptions, images, variants, prices, stock and SEO fields.
Customers
Names, emails, addresses and marketing consent. Passwords can't be moved, so customers sign in again.
Order history
Past orders, imported after products and customers so they link to the right records.
Content
Blog posts, pages, gift cards and store credit where the old platform exports them.
URLs and SEO
A 301 redirect for every old product, category and page URL, plus titles and meta descriptions.
Integrations
ERP, email, reviews and shipping tools reconnected or replaced.
The parts we plan before moving anything.
What each export includes
Website builders export different data. We check exactly what your store can export before planning the move.
Bookings and memberships
Features like bookings or member areas need a Shopify app. We pick one during the audit.
Blog and pages
Blog posts and content pages move to Shopify's blog and pages.
URLs
Every old page and product URL is redirected so links and rankings carry over.
Planned, rehearsed, then switched.
Your old store keeps selling until the moment we switch the domain.
Map everything
Every product type, plugin, integration, URL and legal page on the old store, and what each becomes on Shopify.
Import and check
Products first, then customers, then order history, so records link up. Then a line-by-line check of the data.
Theme and features
Theme, checkout, payments, taxes, shipping and the apps or custom code that replace old plugins.
Redirect and switch
Redirects for every old URL, test orders, domain switch, sitemap submitted, and a watch on traffic after launch.
Wix migration questions.
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Rankings depend on many things, but the biggest avoidable risk is broken URLs. We redirect every old product, category and page URL to its new address before the domain switch, then submit the new sitemap and watch for errors after launch.
Can the old store keep selling during the migration?
Yes. We build and test on Shopify while the old store runs. Orders placed during the build are brought across in a final sync before the switch.
Can customer passwords be moved?
No. Passwords are stored in a form no platform can read or transfer. Customer accounts move over, and customers sign in again on Shopify.
Does Shopify have a Wix migration guide?
Yes, Shopify's help center links a Wix migration guide. We use it as a baseline and add the checks a live store needs.
