Move from WooCommerce to Shopify.
Leave WordPress updates, plugin conflicts and hosting behind. We move your products, customers and order history, redirect every URL, and replace what your plugins did.
What changes when you leave WooCommerce.
No more plugin updates
WordPress core, WooCommerce, the theme and every plugin need their own updates. On Shopify the platform is maintained for you.
Hosting and checkout handled
Hosting, security and checkout uptime become Shopify's job instead of yours.
Plugins, replaced on purpose
Each active plugin is mapped to a Shopify feature, an app or custom code, so nothing quietly disappears.
Your data comes with you.
Shopify's own guidance is to import products first, then customers, then historical orders. We follow it and check the result.
Products
Titles, descriptions, images, variants, prices, stock and SEO fields.
Customers
Names, emails, addresses and marketing consent. Passwords can't be moved, so customers sign in again.
Order history
Past orders, imported after products and customers so they link to the right records.
Content
Blog posts, pages, gift cards and store credit where the old platform exports them.
URLs and SEO
A 301 redirect for every old product, category and page URL, plus titles and meta descriptions.
Integrations
ERP, email, reviews and shipping tools reconnected or replaced.
The parts we plan before moving anything.
Plugin features
Subscriptions, product add-ons, bookings and B2B pricing each need a Shopify equivalent. We list every active plugin and decide: built in, app, or custom.
Variable products
WooCommerce attributes become Shopify options and variants. Products with many attribute combinations are planned before import.
URL structure
WooCommerce's default product and category paths (/product/ and /product-category/) become /products/ and /collections/ on Shopify. Every old URL gets a redirect.
Your WordPress blog
Posts can move to Shopify's blog, or the blog can stay on WordPress on a subdomain if it is a big part of your traffic.
Planned, rehearsed, then switched.
Your old store keeps selling until the moment we switch the domain.
Map everything
Every product type, plugin, integration, URL and legal page on the old store, and what each becomes on Shopify.
Import and check
Products first, then customers, then order history, so records link up. Then a line-by-line check of the data.
Theme and features
Theme, checkout, payments, taxes, shipping and the apps or custom code that replace old plugins.
Redirect and switch
Redirects for every old URL, test orders, domain switch, sitemap submitted, and a watch on traffic after launch.
WooCommerce migration questions.
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Rankings depend on many things, but the biggest avoidable risk is broken URLs. We redirect every old product, category and page URL to its new address before the domain switch, then submit the new sitemap and watch for errors after launch.
Can the old store keep selling during the migration?
Yes. We build and test on Shopify while the old store runs. Orders placed during the build are brought across in a final sync before the switch.
Can customer passwords be moved?
No. Passwords are stored in a form no platform can read or transfer. Customer accounts move over, and customers sign in again on Shopify.
Does Shopify have an official WooCommerce guide?
Yes, Shopify's help center has a WooCommerce migration guide, and the Store Migration app can import data. We use the importer where it fits and scripts or the API where it doesn't.
